The fire company Iron Mountain, in the neighborhood of barracks, records four records in the world.



Iron Mountain and history records four, two in the U.S., one in London and one in Ottawa.

According to a BBC news report, dated Thursday, July 13, 2006, "a large fire destroyed a storage six story paper" in the London capital and should intervene in the sinister "about 100 firefighters."

The same report, the BBC said that on that day, another deposit of Iron Mountain had been a fire in the city of Ottawa, Canada, country of origin of the firm.

The American newspaper The New York Times published on Friday, March 21, 1997, a report on a "mysterious fire" that destroyed a "reservoir of corporate documents" in New Jersey, two days after another fire in a nearby tank, both belonging the company Iron Mountain.

Today the scene is repeated in Argentina, killing 9 fatalities and injuries.

Iron Mountain was founded in 1951 in Livingston. From their website, Iron Mountain is presented as a company that "facilitates the storage and management of electronic files and paper documents the health sector, and even active in sound and film format."

At the institutional video company stresses that their deposits have "full fire", "moisturizing red", "sprinkler" and "strict humidity control."

The company since its website issued a statement on the matter.

Iron Mountain Statement Regarding Feb. 5, 2014, Facility Fire in Argentina Wednesday, February 05, 2014

The following is a statement from Iron Mountain regarding the fire that occurred at a records storage facility in Buenos Aires this morning, Feb. 5, 2014.

This is a tragic event, and we are deeply saddened by the deaths of the brave first responders who rushed to save our facility. Our thoughts are also with those who have been hospitalized, and we wish them a quick and complete recovery.

All Iron Mountain employees are safe and accounted for.

We will investigate the cause of the fire and work closely with local investigators, police and fire authorities to understand what happened. The building was equipped with both fire-detection as well as a sprinkler system.

We recognize our customers will have concerns and questions, and we are in the process of contacting those who have been affected.

We will provide additional information as it becomes available. We appreciate patience and understanding while we work through this critical period.
